As a Travel Sales Consultant, you'll be the trusted point of contact for Qantas travel agency partners, providing expert advice, sales support, and solutions across our products and services. You'll help agencies navigate fares, ticketing, policies, and travel requirements while delivering exceptional customer experiences and identifying opportunities to add value. Working as part of Qantas Agency Connect, you'll collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex enquiries, support agency partners, and contribute to the success of one of Australia's most iconic brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and sales support on Qantas products, policies, fares, and ticketing.
  • Respond to agency partner enquiries accurately and efficiently using available resources and systems.
  • Promote the benefits of Qantas products and services and identify opportunities to support customer needs.
  • Build strong relationships with agency partners by delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Encourage and educate customers on self-service tools available through the Qantas Agency Connect platform.
  • Take a proactive, solutions-focused approach to resolving enquiries and challenges.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for customers and the business.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in customer service, sales, account management, or a client-facing role.
  • Knowledge of travel reservations systems and travel sales practices, with airline or travel industry experience highly regarded.
  • Understanding of domestic and international travel products, fares, ticketing, and airline policies.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to identify sales opportunities and anticipate customer needs.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and team-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Contact centre experience and experience working to performance or service KPIs will be highly regarded.
