Position Overview

Civeo is seeking a Quality Advisor (Compliance & Safety) to support the effective implementation and assurance of our Quality, Compliance and Safety systems across village operations.

This role plays a key part in strengthening compliance maturity, reducing risk, and supporting safe, consistent service delivery across our sites. Working closely with Village Operations, HSQE and support teams, you will provide expert guidance on quality, safety and food safety requirements, support audits and investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aligned to Civeo’s Integrated Management System.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support site leaders and employees to understand and implement quality, compliance and safety system requirements
  • Plan, conduct and support internal, third‑party and client audits and inspections
  • Maintain and improve quality, safety and compliance documentation (procedures, work instructions, training materials)
  • Complete assurance activities to verify compliance with legislation, standards and codes of practice (including WHS and food safety)
  • Support incident, hazard, non‑conformance and complaint investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Analyse trends and performance data and recommend continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to training, coaching and capability uplift across operations
  • Act as a key point of contact for quality, compliance and safety enquiries

 

Qualification

  • A tertiary qualification in Quality Assurance, WHS, Environmental Health, Food Science, Microbiology or a related discipline
  • Internal Auditor qualification highly desirable


Skills and Experience 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a quality, HSQE, food safety, or hospitality‑related role
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems and WHS & food safety legislation
  • Experience supporting or participating in internal and external audits
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • A structured, organised approach with the ability to work independently
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems
