As a Quality Advisor or Engineer, you will provide guidance to the quality assurance team for Lendlease Building projects and assist the Quality Assurance Manager to implement the Project assurance and Safety processes. Coordinating and/or facilitating the necessary safety in design workshops to ensure achieving quality of outcomes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the Project QA audit schedule.  Plan and conduct audits of the project team to reflect the criticality or significance of the project activities and to assess compliance with Source

  • Participate in external and internal audits, as may be required. 

  • Assist Project Engineers with conducting audits of Suppliers, Subcontractors and Consultants where requested. 

  • Work with the Project Manager to establish and configure the Project Electronic Document Management System (eg ACONEX) in line with the approved Lendlease standard filing structure and contract requirements. . 

  • Monitor and review the systems for ITP approval, calibration of Measuring and Test Equipment, Document and Drawing control, and completion of construction quality records to ensure that they are kept up to date. 

  • Provide quality reports for the project reviews covering overall project QA performance, trends, and major or significant incidents or issues arising. 

About You

  • Qualification in Engineering or Construction

  • Proven ability to provide technical advice and implement project plans using your experience and qualifications

  • Proven experience on large scale projects preferably commercial projects

  • Strong Knowledge of quality management systems

  • Strong knowledge of Australian standards and regulatory requirements Proven ability to provide technical advice and implement project plans 

  • Exceptional communication skills and a drive for Quality
