Manually test .NET Windows (10/11) desktop apps, author and refine test plans, reproduce and document bugs with clear steps and logs, validate complex UI patterns and installer flows, and collaborate with product and engineering teams using Teams and GitLab.

Role Overview
We are looking for someone with solid manual testing skill to test the productivity desktop apps built on .NET for Windows (10/11). You'll work closely with our client's product and engineering teams to ensure agentic AI desktop product works flawlessly on Windows.
Required Skills
- 4+ years manual testing experience of desktop applications
- Access to Windows (10/11) machines for testing
- Derive new test cases from product specs, UI walkthroughs, or hands-on exploration.
- Produce structured CSV/spreadsheet formats with clear test descriptions, steps, expected outcomes, and pass/fail criteria
- Refine AI-drafted test plans by removing redundancies, adding edge cases, sharpening expected outcomes, and restructuring cases. You'll lead this refinement.
- Clear bug write-ups with precise reproduction steps, severity classification, screenshots, and log capture
- Comfort with complex UI patterns: multi-window interfaces, drag-and-drop, modal dialogs, system tray/menu bar behavior, and installer flows
- Platform-specific knowledge in Windows Shell Extensions, registry, NSIS installers
- MS365 / Outlook familiarity—integrating experience with both Outlook Classic and modern Outlook
- Strong written English; proficiency with Microsoft Teams and GitLab for collaboration and issue tracking

- Microsoft Entra / OAuth sign-in flow testing
- AI / LLM chat product testing
- Installer validation (NSIS on Windows)
