About the APAC Marketing Team

The APAC Marketing team builds pipeline, awareness, and retention across one of Mixpanel's most strategic growth regions. We run everything from events and partner marketing to localization and customer marketing, working closely with counterparts in EMEA and the US and cross-functionally with sales, partnerships, pre-sales, and customer success across APAC.

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Regional Marketing Manager to help build the foundations of our ANZ business from the ground up. You'll own programs across the full customer lifecycle: acquisition, conversion, activation, and retention, with events as a core piece of the mix. This is a role for someone who can navigate ambiguity with confidence, since there's no existing playbook for this market yet. You'll define what works, bring in the right partners, and become the go-to expert other teams turn to for input on ANZ. Reporting to the APAC Marketing Director, you'll balance hands-on execution with the judgment to know which bets are worth making and which tradeoffs matter most.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute ANZ marketing programs end-to-end, including events and customer marketing, from planning through measurable pipeline outcomes
  • Manage full event logistics: venue sourcing, vendor management, on-site execution, and follow-through to pipeline conversion
  • Identify and test new marketing channels, then decide which are worth scaling based on results, not assumptions
  • Build customer advocacy and engagement through community programs that deepen relationships with existing users
  • Monitor performance metrics closely and adjust programs and processes to hit pipeline goals
  • Anticipate risks and dependencies across ANZ initiatives and communicate them proactively to the APAC Marketing Director and cross-functional partners
  • Act as the go-to source on ANZ market dynamics, sharing what you learn with APAC and global marketing peers so their programs land better in the region

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

  • A track record in B2B or SaaS marketing, or in the analytics space
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to keep multiple programs moving without losing sight of the goal
  • Comfort working in an undefined space, building process where none exists yet, and making sound calls without a playbook
  • A bias toward hands-on execution, willing to do what it takes to make a program work rather than waiting for a perfect setup
  • Sound judgment on business fundamentals, including how marketing spend connects to pipeline and revenue
  • The ability to build trust with partners and stakeholders across time zones and cultures
  • A habit of testing ideas against data and adjusting course when the results say something different than expected
  • Clear, direct communication, especially when flagging risks or explaining tradeoffs to stakeholders
  • Genuine curiosity about what ANZ customers need and how that differs from other markets Mixpanel serves

Bonus Points For

  • Experience at a high-growth startup
  • Specialization in on/offline events, partner marketing, community marketing

Benefits and Perks

  • Comprehensive Medical, Vision, and Dental Care
  • Mental Wellness Benefit
  • Generous Vacation Policy & Additional Company Holidays
  • Enhanced Parental Leave
  • Volunteer Time Off
  • Additional US Benefits: Pre-Tax Benefits including 401(K), Wellness Benefit, Holiday Break

*please note that benefits and perks for contract positions will vary*
