Company Description

Property intelligence is reshaping how the world understands the built environment, and Nearmap is driving that. We put powerful aerial imagery, AI-driven analytics, and geospatial tools into the hands of the people who plan, build, insure, and govern the places we all live and work. Our technology turns property uncertainty into decisive action, and our culture brings out the best in the people who build it. We move fast, we care about craft, and we're proud of what we're building. If you're energized by turning hard problems into real-world impact, we'd love to meet you.

Job Description

Insurance is Nearmap's largest and fastest-growing vertical, and this role sits at the centre of it. You'll own how we go to market with insurance carriers, MGAs, and insurtechs across ANZ — working side by side with Sales leadership, running account-based programs against a small, high-value buyer universe, and bringing what you learn in-market back into our global insurance strategy.

What you'll own

  • In-market pipeline strategy for ANZ Insurance — where we spend effort across a concentrated account universe, and why.

  • Account-based (ABX/ABM) programs for our priority carriers, built with Sales and mapped to the underwriting, claims, risk, and technology buying committees.

  • The Sales partnership. You're in pipeline reviews, you know the named accounts, and you build the programs that unblock stalled deals — including how BDR/SDR outbound is sequenced alongside campaign and intent signals.

  • The ANZ Insurance event strategy — which events we anchor, which accounts we target, what pipeline each needs to return.

  • The feedback loop between ANZ and global. You adapt global campaigns to local reality, and you're the voice telling global what buyers, competitors, and the market are actually doing.

Qualifications

About you

  • You're a strategic operator — you can see where the plan needs to bend to local reality, and you make that call.

  • Sales leadership treats you as a peer because you show up with pipeline insight, not program updates.

  • You're a sharp prioritiser. Given a short list of big accounts, you know where the effort pays off.

  • You communicate clearly with buyers, sellers, and global stakeholders alike.

What you'll bring

  • 8+ years in ABM/ABX, field, or demand generation marketing in B2B SaaS or tech, with a clear record of pipeline contribution.

  • Proven account-based programs run with enterprise AE teams, with shared pipeline accountability.

  • Ability to influence senior Sales leaders and cross-functional partners without formal authority.

  • Comfort with Salesforce, Marketo or HubSpot, and intent data (6sense or similar).

  • Insurance, insurtech, or financial services experience is a plus — not a requirement. We'll back a strong go-to-market marketer who can learn the industry fast.
