Reporting to the Vice President, APJ, the Regional Vice President (RVP) of Sales is responsible for building and scaling a high-performing, world-class sales organisation across Australia. This leader will develop, coach, and lead a team of Account Executives to drive consistent revenue growth across diverse industry verticals and customer segments.

The RVP will lead from the front, instilling a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and disciplined execution through the adoption of structured sales processes and best-practice methodologies. This role is both strategic and hands-on, focused on accelerating predictable new business velocity, strengthening executive relationships with enterprise customers, and elevating the capability of the sales team through ongoing coaching and development.

Success in this role will be defined by the ability to deliver against ambitious revenue targets while building a scalable, engaged, and high-performing sales organisation.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

  • Define and execute a sales strategy that drives new customer acquisition and delivers scalable, sustainable revenue growth across the region
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Account Executives focused on net-new business and expansion opportunities
  • Establish and scale a “land and expand” motion to maximise growth within existing customer accounts
  • Partner cross-functionally with Business Development, Marketing, and Channel teams to build and maintain a strong, high-quality pipeline
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering to deliver compelling, tailored solutions that align to customer technical and business requirements, including executive-level presentations
  • Monitor and manage leading indicators of sales performance to ensure consistent, predictable outcomes and accurate forecasting
  • Own and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets and key performance metrics
  • Coach and support sales representatives across the full sales cycle, including prospecting, virtual presentations, demonstrations, negotiation, and closing
  • Drive regional field engagement, including industry events, prospect meetings, and customer engagements, strengthening market presence and value proposition
  • Partner with Marketing leadership to develop and optimise demand generation and funnel strategies aligned to sales objectives
  • Provide market and competitive insights to Product and Marketing teams to inform strategy and positioning
  • Champion ongoing development of sales capabilities, including training, skills enhancement, and adoption of best practices
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing the organisation at industry events and within the regional market
  • Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture aligned with company values, policies, and code of conduct
What You'll Need:
  • Demonstrated success leading sales in a high-growth environment, ideally generating $10M+ in annual new business revenue
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience building, recruiting, and managing high-performing solutions sales teams
  • 5+ years of consistent achievement in quota-carrying roles, with a strong record of surpassing new business targets
  • Proven track record of selling SaaS solutions to enterprise-level customers
  • Deep expertise across the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, pipeline development, solution selling, product demonstrations, negotiation, and closing
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional sales engagements involving Partners, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Marketing
  • Strong capability in driving disciplined sales execution through structured methodologies and performance metrics
  • Well-established, high-value professional network
