About the Role

As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a Relationship Manager to join a high‑performing Regulatory Compliance team, responsible for managing and growing an existing customer portfolio.


This role is heavily relationship‑focused, with accountability for customer retention, renewal outcomes and identifying opportunities to expand customer value. You’ll work closely with Product Specialists and internal stakeholders to understand customer needs, spot gaps, and deliver tailored solutions.


While this is not a pure new‑business role, it does require a strong commercial mindset and the ability to proactively identify and convert upsell opportunities within existing accounts.


This is a permanent full time role reporting into our RM Sales Manager within a team of 7 consisting of mix of Sales, Relationship experts & Solution Specialists, and can be based either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane with flexible hybrid working arrangements.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow an existing portfolio of Regulatory Compliance of approximately 90+ customers
  • Drive retention, renewals and customer satisfaction
  • Identify and convert upsell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Conduct regular customer engagement and solution demonstrations
  • Collaborate with the Product Specialist, Content & Marketing on gap analysis and opportunity identification
  • Retain, build & maintain sales pipeline to achieve renewal rate targets & monthly or quarterly upsell targets
  • Actively build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate and articulate a full understanding of the entirety of the LexisNexis RC technology portfolio including products and services/education offerings.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts

Requirements

  • Appropriate degree qualifications with relevant work experience – preferably the Risk & Compliance solutions market but also open to SAAS, Legal, Professional services industries
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in Relationship Management or Customer Success roles with blend of Sales where structure sales and consultative selling approaches are used.
  • Prior experience in solution sales or subscription sales is essential
  • Ability to balance farming existing customers with identifying growth opportunities
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills
  • Comfortable managing a portfolio across multiple customers and priorities
  • Proven ability to maintain understanding and awareness of the risk and compliance market and LexisNexis solution offerings is essential.
  • Team player and problem solver; energetic and driven to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, hungry for sales and worked in targets-driven environment
