A Day in the LifeEnterprise Accounts & Services supports healthcare customers across Australia and New Zealand through commercial, customer engagement, and service solutions that help expand access to Medtronic technologies. This role is aligned to the Acute Care Monitoring portfolio and focuses on engaging customers remotely to generate demand, identify opportunities, support adoption, and contribute to territory growth across the region.
This is a 14-month full-time contract based in Macquarie Park, NSW, operating in a flexible work arrangement. The role partners closely with field sales teams and customer-facing stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes through remote engagement and sales support activities.

As a Remote Sales Specialist, you will drive sales growth through proactive customer engagement, lead generation, opportunity development, and sales support activities. The role combines outbound prospecting, customer relationship management, and collaboration with field sales representatives to help achieve commercial objectives within the Acute Care Monitoring portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive remote sales activities across assigned accounts and territories to achieve or exceed sales objectives.

  • Identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities through proactive outreach and customer engagement.

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling and lead generation, to build and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline.

  • Promote and educate customers on Medtronic products, services, and value propositions through virtual interactions.

  • Partner with field sales representatives to coordinate customer activities, develop opportunities, and support territory plans.

  • Analyse customer and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and actions that support business growth.

  • Coordinate product demonstrations and facilitate connections between customers and field sales representatives where appropriate.

  • Resolve customer enquiries and concerns in a timely manner while maintaining a high standard of customer experience.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 6+ years, or Associate's Degree and 4+ years, or Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of sales or commercial experience.

  • Experience conducting outbound phone-based sales activities, including cold calling and lead generation.

  • Demonstrated experience managing customer interactions and developing sales opportunities through virtual or telephone engagement.

  • Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales reporting tools.

  • Ability to manage multiple customer opportunities and priorities while consistently achieving activity targets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling medical device, MedTech, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare solutions.

  • Previous experience supporting or transitioning from a field-based sales role.

  • Experience working within an inside sales, telesales, business development environment.

  • Experience analysing sales metrics and using data-driven insights to prioritise opportunities and improve results.
