Hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!

Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.

Where and how you can work

Our flagship Sydney campus is uniquely Canva - an extension of our Surry Hills neighbourhood. It’s a thoughtfully designed space with plenty of room to collaborate, focus and connect.

This role is based in Sydney, and we’re looking for someone who calls it home. Our hybrid way of working gives you the flexibility to work remotely, and to come together on campus for meaningful in-person collaboration and connection when it matters most. We trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

What you'd be doing in this role

Our Total Rewards team plays a key role in Canva's mission, building programs that help us attract, recognise and retain great people. You'll partner with leaders and People teams to design, implement and continuously improve reward programs that support Canva's growth.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Partnering with business leaders and People Partners to provide strategic reward advice that supports business priorities and enables great talent decisions.
  • Designing, implementing and continuously improving reward programs, policies and frameworks that create a consistent and scalable employee experience.
  • Leading key reward initiatives including job architecture, compensation review cycles, market benchmarking and governance.
  • Applying market data and internal insights to evaluate roles, benchmark compensation and make recommendations that balance competitiveness, fairness and business needs.
  • Partnering with Talent Acquisition to support equitable and market-informed offers for new hires and internal mobility.
  • Using market data and internal insights to evaluate roles, benchmark compensation and make recommendations that balance competitiveness, fairness and business needs.
  • Collaborating across the People team to deliver reward initiatives that are well communicated, operationally effective and aligned with Canva's Total Rewards philosophy.

You're probably a match if:

  • You have experience in the tech sector or another fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • You have broad experience across compensation and Total Rewards, including job architecture, compensation review cycles, market benchmarking and compensation governance.
  • You take a proactive approach to partnering with business leaders, understanding their challenges and providing education and support
  • You enjoy helping people understand reward programs and philosophy
  • You have solid data analysis skills and can turn insights into a clear story
  • You build strong relationships and influence stakeholders through collaboration and credibility.

About the team

At Canva, our Reward team is pivotal in driving our mission to empower the world to design. We design and deliver reward programs that are fair, competitive and aligned with our culture and business goals. Working across compensation, job architecture, equity and reward strategy, we partner closely with leaders and People teams to build scalable solutions that support Canva's continued growth. We combine market insights, data and thoughtful program design to ensure our reward approach evolves alongside our business.

What's in it for you?

  • Equity packages, so our success is yours too
  • Inclusive parental leave policy that supports all parents and carers
  • An annual Vibe & Thrive allowance for wellbeing, social connection, office setup and more
  • Flexible leave options to recharge and be a force for good
