We're looking for a Risk and Compliance Manager to join our Risk team and play a key role in strengthening risk management and compliance practices across the Group.
In this Line 2 Risk role, you will provide pragmatic, independent risk and compliance advice to business stakeholders, executives and boards. You will help enhance risk and compliance frameworks, support sound risk-based decision making, and ensure HUB24 continues to meet its regulatory obligations while achieving its strategic objectives.
Can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

What you’ll be doing


  • Provide risk and compliance advice across a broad range of risk classes.

  • Partner with business leaders to support effective risk-based decision making.

  • Enhance and maintain risk and compliance frameworks, policies and practices.

  • Support risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting activities.

  • Contribute to Board, Executive and Risk Committee reporting.

  • Build strong relationships across the business to embed risk culture and accountability.

  • Deliver risk and compliance training and awareness initiatives.

  • Support the ongoing maturity of HUB24's three lines of accountability model.


What you bring


You don’t need to tick every box, but experience in the below will set you up for success.


Experience & Skills


  • Degree qualified in law, finance, business or a related discipline.

  • Experience in risk, compliance or governance within financial services.

  • Strong understanding of financial services regulatory obligations.

  • Exposure to managed investment schemes, wrap/platform products, superannuation or financial advice environments.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and provide constructive challenge.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving and relationship management skills.

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
