Sales Director

Join us as a Sales Director at Dedalus, one of the World’s leading healthcare technology companies, on our Sales Team in Australia to do the best work of your career and make a profound impact in providing better care for a healthier planet.

What you’ll achieve

As a Sales Director you will be part of important part of our overall business managing all efforts by the company's entire sales team, strategically planning and launching new products or services while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for creating and communicating sales goals and ways to achieve those goals.

You will:

  • Meet and drive strategies to exceed annual sales targets 
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer and partner relationships
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies – code of conduct, deal approval, entertainment being key ones
  • Lead the sales, sales operations and marketing and aligning with pre-sales
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base - reviewed every 6 months
  • Ensure each seller has clear objectives and plan to support that is monitored and adjusted monthly - reviewed with each seller every 3 months
  • Ensure there is a clear value proposition in proposals and presentations before they are submitted 
  • Leveraging the sales operations team publish detailed and accurate sales reports on a weekly basis
  • Estimating sales volume and revenue for current and new products – on a quarterly basis • Establishing a sales training program to train and develop employees.

  • Proven sales executive experience with complex software and services, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director leading a team of 20 budget of Au$70m
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent

Desirable Requirements

  • Ability to work from home in a suitable environment when necessary • Willingness to travel is required.
  • The role may require work outside of and/or beyond the Company’s normal business hours
