Job Title: Sales Excellence Manager – Asia Pacific

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Sales Excellence Leader to elevate commercial performance across the Asia Pacific region. This role will serve as a key business partner to regional sales leaders, driving operational rigor, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business partnering, deep expertise in Salesforce.com, and fluency in Chinese is highly preferred. Here, you will make an impact by:
1. Business Partnering & Strategy
- Act as a strategic advisor to regional sales leadership, providing insights and recommendations to drive growth and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Operations, etc.) to align on go-to-market strategies and execution plans.
- Support annual and quarterly business planning, including target setting, resource allocation, and performance reviews.
2. Sales Process & Performance Optimization
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of sales processes and best practices across the region.
- Drive adoption and optimization of Salesforce.com and other sales tools to enhance productivity and visibility.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
3. Sales Incentive Planning & Performance Management
- Design, implement, and manage sales incentive plans that align with business goals and drive desired behaviors.
- Partner with Finance and HR to ensure incentive plans are competitive, compliant, and effectively communicated.
- Track and analyze sales performance against incentive metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support quarterly and annual performance reviews, including quota attainment analysis and recognition programs.
4. Enablement & Change Management
- Develop and deliver training programs to upskill sales teams on tools, processes, and performance management.
- Lead change management initiatives to support new systems, processes, or organizational changes.
5. Insights & Analytics
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on sales performance, customer segmentation, and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights and executive-level presentations.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent
- Min 8 years of experience in Sales Excellence, Sales Operations, Commercial Strategy, or related roles.
- Proven track record of business partnering with senior sales leaders in a regional or global context.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce.com; experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other analytics tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and managing sales incentive plans.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese is highly preferred.
- Experience working in or with Asia Pacific markets is strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel across the region as needed.
Work location: Singapore, Shanghai, Tokyo, Sydney, Seoul,
- Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to working location at least 3 days per week)
