About Ofload and Our Mission

FreightTech is one of the most exciting spaces to be in right now, with the opportunity to transform one of the largest industries. Freight in Australia is a $76 billion market, yet it is analogue and has many inefficiencies: 30% of the time, trucks drive empty. Networks lack transparency, data flows are fragmented, and smaller transport operators face barriers to competing with the big players.

At Ofload, we’re changing how the freight industry operates and bringing it into the digital world. We leverage technology, data, and strategic partnerships to connect a growing roster of blue-chip customers with smaller, highly efficient transport operators. By reducing empty truck miles, improving visibility, and optimising supply chains, we’re driving smarter, greener, and more efficient operations that benefit businesses and the environment. As a certified B Corp, we're held to the highest standards of social and environmental performance — and we actively work to keep earning that certification, every three years.

This is more than just logistics - it’s FreightTech: a tech-powered transformation of an industry that is the backbone of the economy and touches everyone’s lives.

The Role

We’re looking for a commercially driven Sales Executive to join our growing FinTech team, selling fuel cards, bulk fuel and finance solutions to transport operators across Australia.

This is a hands-on, full-cycle sales role. You’ll own everything from prospecting and converting new business through to activation, retention, upsell and account growth.

Your customers will typically be owner-drivers and small to mid-sized fleets — practical, time-poor and direct. This is a high-volume sales environment where relationships, pace and follow-through matter. You’ll spend most of your time on the phone building pipeline and closing opportunities.

Fuel is the core focus, with opportunities to grow customers across our broader finance offering. You’ll need strong commercial and financial literacy and the confidence to talk to business owners about cash flow, margins, payment terms and working capital.

We’re growing quickly, with new products and opportunities continuing to come to market. There’s plenty to build, shape and own, making this a great opportunity for someone who is motivated by results, enjoys autonomy and thrives in an environment where the playbook is still evolving.

What you'll be doing:

  • Own and deliver sales targets across fuel cards, bulk fuel and carrier finance products
  • Build and manage your own pipeline through inbound and outbound activity
  • Convert opportunities from first conversation through to application, activation and revenue
  • Qualify customer needs and recommend the right product or combination of products
  • Manage and grow existing accounts through retention, increased usage, upsell and cross-sell
  • Build strong relationships with transport operators and understand their business needs
  • Meet customers face to face through depot visits, customer meetings and industry events
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, activity and customer records in HubSpot
  • Work with Marketing and the wider FinTech team on lead quality, targeting and sales feedback

About you:

  • 3+ years’ B2B sales experience, ideally in SMB, transactional or high-volume sales environments, with a proven track record of hitting targets.
  • Commercially minded and financially literate, with the confidence to talk to small business owners about cash flow, margins, payment terms and working capital.
  • Confident on the phone and comfortable with high-volume outbound sales, prospecting and creating your own opportunities.
  • Strong relationship builder who can quickly build rapport with owner-drivers and business operators and understand what matters to them.
  • Highly driven and resilient, with the ownership, consistency and follow-through to keep momentum and deliver results without being micromanaged.
  • Organised and commercially disciplined, with strong CRM habits and the ability to manage a pipeline, multiple opportunities and customer accounts.
  • Curious and adaptable, quick to learn new products and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where the playbook is still evolving. Experience with HubSpot, Excel/Google Sheets and a current driver’s licence are required.

Bonus, but not essential

  • Experience selling to owner-operator or SMB markets, particularly across transport, logistics, trades or construction.
  • Exposure to fuel, fleet, FinTech, transport or logistics products or industries.

At Ofload we prioritise impact, aptitude and passion, so we’d encourage you to apply if you do not meet all the above criteria. When you apply, please let us know of any reasonable adjustments you may need during the interview process.
We’re a values-led organisation with a flat, collaborative culture. We’re builders who like to move fast, get things done and make a real impact. No two days are the same, and we believe in giving people the ownership and space to make a difference.
