Job Description
This newly created role is the Financial Business Partner to the Away from Home (AFH) & Export teams to own the financial commitment. You will provide business and financial support in the form of planning, analysis, and reporting of trade spend and margin for the sales business. You will liaise with various stakeholders (GBS, Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Pricing) to assist with business process improvements. This role will also drive white space opportunities and ensure accurate forecasts through monthly IBP cycle, whilst managing pricing and customer deductions.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the AFH & Export team, NZ/ AU Retail, ANZ National customers and their spend and accruals.
  • Provide support in preparation and analysis of the ANZ Foodservice P&L (forecast, budget & actuals)
  • Provide support of planning (budget and monthly forecast) process and strategic plan with Foodservice Sales team and Finance
  • Ensure the AFH & Export teams D&A (Deals and Accruals) are in line with budget
  • Oversee customer deductions process in support area
  • Own the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) claims for Foodservice
  • Assist with external and internal audit queries
  • System and database maintenance
  • Coordination with GBS


About you:

  • Tertiary qualified in Business/Commerce/Accounting (preferably CPA/CA)
  • Experience in financial accounting / planning / analysis (preferably in FMCG or retail sales channel)
  • Understanding of transactional processes / core systems (BPCS/SAP/Demantra)
  • Variety of software applications - Excel, Cognos, PowerPoint ,Tableau (or similar)
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data to make recommendations
  • Ability to think strategically and translate this thinking into measurable actions
  • Ability to follow up, understand issues and their resolution, and work them through to completion
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
