Sales Manager, ANZ Corporates  

 

Thomson Reuters Australia is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the Corporate ONESOURCE Software sales efforts across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). This role is crucial for driving revenue growth, managing key corporate accounts, and building a high-performing sales team. 

 

About the Role  

In this opportunity as Sales Manager, ANZ Corporates, you will:  

  • Drive Sales Results: Developing and executing sales plans to achieve and exceed corporate sales targets and revenue objectives within the ANZ region. 

  • People Management: Recruiting, training, mentoring, and leading a team of corporate sales professionals to foster a high-performance, results-oriented culture. 

  • Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new corporate business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and expanding ONESOURCE market share. 

  • Industry Knowledge: Maintaining a deep understanding of the Tax and Finance market and wider B2B Corporate landscape, including market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, to inform sales strategies. 

  • Problem Resolution: Proactively identifying and resolving complex client issues and sales challenges, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. 

  • Revenue Driven Focus: Consistently monitoring and analysing sales performance, implementing corrective actions as needed, and reporting on progress to senior management. 

 

About You 

You’re a fit for the role of Sales Manager, ANZ Corporates, if you have the following required qualifications:  

  • Proven sales leadership with consistent achievement and over-performance against targets. Building, coaching, and motivating high-performing sales teams. 

  • Strategic commercial acumen to identify market opportunities and convert them into growth plans. 

  • Deep domain expertise in software/technology, ideally including tax or finance  

  • Skilled at managing complex sales cycles, resolving issues, and navigating demanding customer requirements. 

  • Strong cross-functional leadership, partnering effectively with Marketing, Sales Ops, Product, Customer Success, and Finance to drive outcomes. 

Additional preferred qualifications include: 

  • Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities; tertiary qualification in Business/Sales/Marketing (or related) preferred.
