Lead the strategy and execution of business process transformation across the Public Sector segment and its sub-sectors.

You'll lead a high-performing sales organisation that turns Microsoft's AI and cloud vision into measurable customer impact - setting a multi-year growth strategy, anticipating market shifts, and mobilising your team around the opportunities that matter most.

You'll sponsor complex business-process and agentic AI transformations, bringing Microsoft teams and partners together to deliver differentiated outcomes, and represent the voice of customers, partners and sellers with senior leaders to influence strategy, investment and go-to-market execution.

You'll also build an inclusive, accountable culture that attracts exceptional talent and develops future leaders.


Responsibilities

Strategy and execution

  • Develop and execute a multi-year growth strategy that aligns local priorities to enterprise ambition.
  • Anticipate market shifts, competitive threats and regulatory change to shape differentiated sales plays.
  • Lead AI and cloud transformation, aligning the team to customer success, security and disciplined execution.
  • Drive Cross Solution Selling, Unified Support Selling and Modern Selling across the wider business.

Customers and partners

  • Act as a trusted advisor, connecting Microsoft solutions to customers' strategic business goals.
  • Build tailored success plans that accelerate adoption, value realisation and sustainable growth.
  • Sponsor critical deals and engage partners early to strengthen long-term outcomes.
  • Build trusted executive relationships that align stakeholders around shared goals and mutual value.

People leadership

  • Attract, develop and retain exceptional talent through meaningful career conversations and growth plans.
  • Set clear outcomes, coach across boundaries, and adapt your leadership to the situation and the individual.
  • Build an inclusive, high-performance culture grounded in trust, empathy and diverse perspectives.

Operations and pipeline

  • Drive pipeline health, forecast accuracy, revenue growth and disciplined investment decisions.
  • Use automation and AI-powered analytics to build capability and sharpen sales decisions.
  • Simplify complexity and remove blockers to improve execution across the technology stack.
  • Maintain strong operating rhythms, stakeholder communication and accountability for commitments.

Qualifications

Minimum experience

  • 10+ years in solution or cloud services sales, including 7+ years in senior sales leadership.
  • Demonstrated industry experience within Public Sector

Preferred experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience leading high-performing sales or specialist teams in a complex organisation.
