Job Purpose

An exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our growing team!

This role will be responsible for leading and managing the sales of Container Parks services to drive revenue growth, expand market Prescence and achieve business objectives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan sales activities and set targets for Container Park services (Fumigation, Quarantine, Tailgate, Staging, Reefer Monitoring, First/Last mile transfers to terminal, OOG)

  • Identify opportunities to cross and upsell to customers 

  • Participate in high-level negotiations and deal closures

  • Provide guidance on pricing strategies and contract terms

  • Lead generation to build and support current and future pipeline 

  • Regular interface with prospective and current customers 

  • Offer additional value add services to existing customers to expand DP World share of wallet

  • Establish, maintain and improve key account management practices to ensure retention and improvement to customer base

  • Accountable to grow and optimise profitable commercial revenue streams
  • Manage business reporting requirements
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, market trends, and competitor activity to inform decision-making 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales development role particularly focused in the Logistics industry 

  • Experience in Container Parks 

  • Able to manage priorities, be well organised, methodical and deal well under pressure

  • Commercial acumen

  • Computer Literate

  • Proven strong customer pipeline planning skills and experience

  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills

  • Process driven and pro-active
