About the role  

As Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for growing a designated territory through proactive business development, account management, and customer engagement. You will work with commercial and institutional clients across a range of industries, helping them find effective solutions in areas such as wastewater treatment, HVAC, safety and compliance, and property maintenance.

Success in this role will come from your ability to generate new business, build trusted customer relationships, and deliver ongoing value to clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities within your assigned territory
  • Conduct face-to-face customer meetings and site visits
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through networking, referrals, and cold prospecting
  • Develop long-term relationships with commercial and institutional customers
  • Identify customer challenges and recommend tailored solutions
  • Manage and grow existing accounts to maximise retention and revenue
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and territory growth objectives
  • Maintain accurate customer records and activity within CRM systems

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing sales

  • Confidence in prospecting and generating new business opportunities

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills

  • A results-driven approach and desire to achieve sales targets

  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities

  • Sound computer skills and familiarity with CRM platforms

  • A valid Australian driver's licence and ability to travel throughout the territory
