What you will do

Join our team as a Sales Specialist and empower businesses to grow safely in the digital age. You'll promote our data solutions and insights, including industry-leading Fraud and Identity tools like IDMatrix and FraudCheck, which help customers combat fraud and streamline identity verification. Your work will enable frictionless digital customer acquisition for government, financial institutions, and beyond.

Whether it’s a Biometrics service, providing AML/CTF protection or minimising fraud risk, our Sales Specialists are able to partner with customers and leverage Equifax’s capabilities to offer high-value solutions to the market. Working with Equifax A/NZ’s top Pre-sales Manager as your leader and mentor, you will be given the opportunity to:

  • Target and develop fresh business opportunities to grow an existing client base, building and managing a multi-million dollar sales pipeline

  • Create and sell bespoke solutions, working with Equifax’s local Product, Technology, Compliance and other teams

  • Be part of a close-knit, collaborative team that's aligned to and works alongside an outstanding customer account management team

What skills and experience you need

  • 3-5 years business-to-business pre-sales and solution sales experience

  • Demonstrable evidence of working to, and performing against, hard sales/revenue targets

  • Ability to develop and foster long-term relationships by establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to customers 

  • Competence in using selling materials, tools and tactics to positively progress customer projects and opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle

  • Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills, including delivery of sales presentations, developing bids, responding to proposals and negotiating terms and contracts  

  • Comfort and skill in pursuing new partner opportunities or jointly conceived / co-developed solutions

  • Understanding of or exposure to fraud and identity solutions
