About the role: 

The Seller Events and Engagement Specialist is responsible for executing strategies to enhance seller engagement and community building at eBay. This role involves organising and managing events that educate and empower sellers, fostering a sense of community, and increasing trust in eBay as a selling platform. 

This role is pivotal in ensuring that eBay remains a platform of choice for sellers by fostering a supportive and engaging community environment.

What you will accomplish:

  • Event Planning and Execution: Organise and host various seller events, including webinars, trade shows, and eBay-run events, to provide educational content and networking opportunities for sellers.

  • Community Building: Develop initiatives to engage with the seller community, including managing seller panels and forums to gather feedback and address seller concerns.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to align events with eBay strategy and goals and enhance the seller experience.

  • Content Creation: Create and share educational content, such as video tutorials and user-generated content, to support seller growth and engagement.

  • Process Improvement: Develop a standardised process for event briefing, execution, reporting and evaluation to effectively advise and coordinate engagement activities at scale and assess the success and ROI of engagement activities.

  • Customer Centricity: Act as a liaison between sellers and eBay, collecting feedback to drive improvements in seller tools and processes. Promote a customer-centric approach within eBay by organising seller forums and integrating seller feedback into strategic decisions
