About the Role

Ogilvy Sydney is looking for a Senior Account Director to join the team starting in April for a 12-month parental leave contract, with the view to extend potentially.

The retail account is fast-paced, expands across multiple touchpoints in each campaign and is packed with growth opportunities. You will be immersed deeply in the business and will support across a range of projects, spanning brand through to digital, all connecting back to solving business challenges.

The team and client are part of what makes this role so unique. Ogilvy holds a longstanding and collaborative relationship with KFC and the wider agency village. The team is tight-knit, supportive, with no egos and always looking for ways to have fun on the day-to-day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Nurture relationships at the most senior client relationship level
  • Create the environment to enable the agency to deliver strong creative solutions (as measured by hard & soft criteria)
  • Deliver against a set of financial objectives agreed with the agency management
  • Responsible for identifying and exploiting growth opportunities to maximise income generation opportunities with existing clients
  • Have a point of view on the agency culture, vision, and business development for senior management

About You

We're looking for a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of financial principles and a keen eye for creative solutions. You should have proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring teams, along with excellent negotiation skills and demonstrated financial acumen in managing budgets and forecasting.
