Job Description

BMF have an amazing opportunity for a talented Account Director to join our legendary team based in Pyrmont. This is a fast-paced role which requires commitment, energy and someone who’ll thrive under pressure.

 

As a Senior Account Director, you’ll be responsible for instilling industry-leading account leadership and building trusted and valued partnerships with our clients. You’ll develop and nurture creative thinking, that will put BMF and our clients, ahead of the pack.

What you can bring:

  • Development of quarterly client plans including relationship strategies and identification of opportunities for business growth and strategies to drive this.
  • Demonstrates an ingrained level of understanding of the BMF business.
  • Act as agency business lead for allocated clients, driving the overall relationship between the client and the agency.
  • Develop strong client relationships based on trust and integrity for all levels, including leading conversations with C-suite executives.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of client’s brands, competitors, category, consumers and overall strategy and can confidently lead strategic discussions both with the client and internally.
  • In depth understanding of the client’s business objectives and measurement metrics and how communications will deliver on these metrics.
  • Immersion into clients’ categories, including regular competitive reporting.
  • To support the management of any day-to-day client issues 
  • with Head of Account Management and team respectively.
  • Ensuring strong client management hygiene – e.g. contract reports within 24 hours, agendas, timelines.
  • Ability to direct the client and lead complex integrated campaigns involving multiple channel executions, applying detailed knowledge of communications strategy, project workflow from concept to production to ensure efficient delivery of campaign assets to multiple deadlines.
  • Responsibility for the execution of projects from end-to-end meeting client deadlines.
  • Manage BMF’s resources employed to these accounts to ensure quality of experience and output for the client.
  • Responsibility for the management of a job’s finances: accurately estimating work and delivering projects on budget.
  • Ability to accurately build and manage a complex integrated campaign budget involving multiple channel executions.
  • Proactive management of head hours used on jobs to ensure projects are profitable.
  • Weekly JCR management to ensure project delivery is on budget and profit margin maintained.
  • Detailed knowledge of protecting profit margin and project revenue management.
  • Protect a profit margin of no less than 10% on all projects.
  • Management of revenue forecast. Manage revenue pipeline to allow for resource planning.

Remuneration 140,000 Inc of Superannuation

Qualifications

  • Experience at Account Director level within a reputable agency.
  • Track record of leading high performing teams.
  • History of strong client relationships.
  • Retail experience would be advantageous.
  • Passion for brilliance and desire to deliver the unexpected.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and commercial strategy.
  • Flawless attention to detail.
  • Always striving to bring inspiration and ideas to the table.
  • Clear and articulate communications, with strong presentation skills
