Job Description

This Senior Account Manager role is focused on building and nurturing long-term relationships with some of Australia’s largest employers who hire interns and graduates. You will serve as a trusted partner, guiding clients to maximise the value of their GradConnection profiles and recruitment campaigns. 

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and implement strategic portfolio and client relationship plans for key accounts
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering proactive, prescriptive advice and practical solutions to stakeholders
  • Provide market and client feedback to GradConnection’s product and strategy teams to inform innovation and enhancements
  • Lead bi-annual and annual contract negotiations with a focus on relationship development, revenue growth, and increased market share
  • Drive adoption and utilisation of GradConnection’s product suite aligned to individual client needs
  • Collaborate key internal stakeholders across marketing, product, strategy, and operations to deliver seamless client experiences
  • Grow and maintain sales and revenue across accounts by positioning GradConnection as a strategic, long-term partner
  • Conduct regular performance reviews leveraging internal analytics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for clients

The Team You’ll Join

GradConnection consists of team members working across commercial and operational functions that work closely with dedicated Product, Tech and Marketing colleagues within SEEK that are responsible for delivering value to the specialised needs of the Graduate segment.  We have Team members distributed around Australia and the World, with a focus on APAC.  You will work within a team of 4, who are located in both Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane.

Qualifications

  • Business development or account management experience (ideally in SAAS environment)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail 
  • Able to rapport with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Excellent time management and negotiation skills  
  • Ability to handle objections, listen and respond effectively 
  • Digital Marketing or graduate recruitment industry experience is a bonus
  • Bachelor Degree with any degree major
  • Experience using Salesforce would be advantageous, however certainly not mandatory 
  • A general knowledge of university degrees would be helpful, but again, not mandatory
