We're REA

With bold and ambitious goals, REA Group  is changing the way the world experiences property. No matter where you're at on your property journey, we're here to help with every step - whether that's finding or financing your next home.

Our people are the key to our success. At the heart of everything we do, is a thriving culture centred around high performance and care. We are purpose driven and collaborative, which drives innovation and our ability to make a real impact. As such, we’re proud to have been named in Australia’s “Top 5” Best Workplaces two years in a row, as well as being recognised as a Best Workplace for Women.

Where the team fits in

The Senior Account Partner is a senior member of our Media Sales team, responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue targets through a consultative, solution-selling approach and for managing high-value agency and direct-client relationships in a way that delivers long-term customer value. As a senior voice in the team, you will lead from the front on our largest and most complex partnerships, mentor and support less experienced Account Partners, and act as a senior face of REA Media in market.

What the role is all about

This is a role for an experienced media seller who is equal parts hunter and trusted partner — someone who can open doors at senior levels, build genuine relationships, and convert them into commercial outcomes.

  • Deliver year-on-year growth in revenue and client base across a portfolio of high-value agency and direct-advertiser accounts
  • Proactively drive new, high-yielding business by growing your client list and selling REA Media solutions to the agency and direct advertiser market
  • Lead and own our most complex and strategically important partnerships, including integrated, content-led campaigns delivered with the Brand Partnerships team
  • Build strong relationships at all levels of your customer base — with particular focus on senior media-agency planners and buyers, programmatic trading desks, and senior advertising decision-makers within client marketing departments
  • Work collaboratively with the Programmatic Solutions and Trading team to ensure revenue opportunities are maximised
  • Partner with the Media Product team to provide input into new product development and bring first-to-market thinking back to your clients
  • Act as a senior leader within the team — sharing knowledge, coaching and supporting Account Partners and Account Executives, and helping lift the capability of the wider crew
  • Manage all internal projects and stakeholders in a way that ensures a high level of customer satisfaction and positive business outcomes

Who we’re looking for

  • A proven media sales performer with a hunter mentality and a track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Significant experience (typically 4+ years) in the digital media sales environment, ideally working with advertising media agencies and programmatic trading desks
  • Experience managing large, complex and high-value accounts, and the gravitas to build trusted relationships with senior agency and client-side stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen and a genuine drive to succeed
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • A natural mentor who enjoys lifting the people around them
  • Programmatic Solutions and Salesforce experience will be highly regarded
