The Opportunity

The Senior Accountant in Group Finance is responsible for delivering accurate and timely statutory and management reporting for the listed Dexus Group, with a key focus on Dexus Property Trust. The role partners closely with internal stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Funds and Property, supports half‑year and year‑end audits, and contributes to tax compliance, technical accounting and the implementation of new accounting standards. This role offers broad exposure to listed group reporting and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement and high‑quality financial outcomes in a collaborative team environment.

How you will make an impact

  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly stand‑alone and consolidated results, including analysis and reporting packs.

  • Prepare half‑year and annual statutory financial statements and proactively manage the audit process.

  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain high‑quality accounting records.

  • Manage tax compliance activities, including trust distributions and GST, in liaison with tax advisors.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to address technical accounting matters, implement new standards and drive process improvements.

  • Prepare and review reporting papers, analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders and Board‑level reporting.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across reporting processes, systems and controls.

About You

  • CA‑qualified Accountant.

  • Big 4 experience is highly regarded, with post‑qualification exposure to industry environments viewed favorably.

  • Experience in industry within a complex or listed environment.

  • Strong end‑to‑end financial reporting capability, including hands‑on involvement in month‑end close and preparation of statutory financial statements.

  • Proven ability to “own” a significant portion of the month‑end process, with strong attention to detail and clear accountability for the numbers.

  • Experience or exposure to tools such as Workiva, TM1 and/or Yardi, with confidence working across financial systems and reporting platforms is desirable.

  • Strong stakeholder management.
