About the Role
The role of Senior Accountant provides professional accounting services to a diverse range of international and domestic clients: from start-up to multi-million dollar international businesses. This role will be exposed to numerous clients across a broad range of industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare management accounting reports for Manager review, including commentary for key stakeholders
Prepare a range of complex financial statements in accordance with regulatory, accounting and financial reporting standards
Prepare clear and concise work papers and review work papers of junior staff Supervise junior staff as appropriate
Review appropriate completed tax and FBT returns for compliance identifying any non-compliance issues arising from them
Perform tax planning for clients
Prepare tax returns for all entities
Quarterly and annual tax compliance matters
Prepare advice for clients in relation to business operations and regulatory matters
General business administration
Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required:
CA or CPA Qualification (or currently completing)
2-3 years’ Business Services/Tax experience (mid-tier experience desirable) Client focused with strong commitment to quality service and client relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to establish professional relations with internal and external clients
Demonstrated analytical/problem solving ability
Ability to multi-task and effectively manage individual and team workflow
Self-motivated, taking responsibility for personal and professional development Team player and committed to supporting team members
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
