The opportunity

There is an exciting chance for an experienced actuarial analyst looking to grow their career with QBE in the role of Senior Actuarial Analyst with a key focus on providing actuarial valuation and portfolio support for our LMI product.

Your new role

• Support end to end quarterly reserving process.
• Support statutory reporting deliverables including APRA submissions, Actuarial Valuation Report and Financial Condition Report.
• Support IFRS 17 process including the General Measurement Model updates.
• Support other ad hoc analysis, including pricing model and capital model review.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing process.
• Provide guidance to junior analysts.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders.

About you

• Fellowship of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia or progress in General Insurance Part IIIs
• Industry experience in General Insurance or banking is essential.
• Strong MS Excel, SAS and R programming skills.
• Ability to communicate analysis and findings to a wide range of stakeholders.
