In this Role You Will

  • Support remediation activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical AML guidance to AML Administrators conducting customer due diligence activities.
  • Monitor the quality, consistency and timeliness of AML processing activities.
  • Assist with complex due diligence matters, escalations and stakeholder queries.
  • Support workflow management, workforce planning and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the firm to promote effective AML compliance practices.

About You

You'll be a collaborative and detail-oriented compliance professional with a passion for helping organisations manage regulatory risk and strengthen compliance outcomes.

You'll also bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in AML/CTF compliance, customer due diligence and financial crime compliance.
  • Strong understanding of Australian AML/CTF legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience reviewing due diligence files and applying a risk-based approach.
  • The ability to identify compliance gaps and recommend practical, workable solutions.
  • Experience contributing to policies, procedures, guidance materials, templates or training resources.
  • Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience working with FirstAML would be highly regarded but not essential
