What You Will Get To Do:
The Senior Analyst Engineer will bring strong critical thinking, technical innovation, and attention to detail, serving as a trusted advisor to both the team and stakeholders. This role demands versatility, leadership, and enthusiasm across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
You will work with enhancement squads in Plum to deliver small to large-scale improvements for stakeholders across Product, Distribution, Operations, Client Enablement, and Remediation. Additionally, you'll support Delivery Leads and Engineering Managers across the Plum/AWD portfolios, contributing to the broader MasterTrust value stream.
Collaborate with teams to analyse business processes and user requirements to define system needs.
Translate requirements into functional specifications and develop appropriate technical solutions.
Design, code, and configure software applications to meet agreed specifications.
Enhance, improve, and maintain systems by identifying and implementing necessary changes.
Lead enhancement delivery squads using both Agile and traditional SDLC methodologies.
Work closely with project managers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure solutions align with business goals.
Provide application support, including initial diagnosis, issue documentation, progress tracking, and escalation as needed to ensure timely resolution.
What You Will Bring:
7+ years of experience in technology roles, with a strong focus on application development and support
5+ years in hands-on application development and/or support positions
Proven experience delivering technology solutions and support in a client-facing environment
Proficient in SQL and scripting for data analysis and system enhancements
Knowledge or exposure to superannuation contribution processes and systems
Strong proficiency with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
