About the role

As a Senior Analyst, Investment Analytics, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate, timely and insightful performance and attribution reporting across a broad range of asset classes. You’ll provide technical oversight, act as a subject matter expert on complex attribution matters and support continuous improvement across the Investment Analytics function.

This 12-month max term contract role offers significant exposure to portfolio managers and senior stakeholders and is well suited to someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with collaboration, problem‑solving and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily and monthly performance and attribution reporting across equity, fixed income, diversified and absolute return strategies.

  • Provide daily fixed income and equity attribution analysis to portfolio managers, with clear and concise explanations.

  • Complete month‑end performance, attribution and ad‑hoc reporting requests.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on complex attribution queries and present insights to senior stakeholders.

  • Identify operational issues early and resolve or escalate appropriately.

  • Manage data flows across holdings, pricing, benchmarks, corporate actions and analytics outputs.

  • Work effectively with IBOR and ABOR data structures and custodial feeds.

  • Support BAU delivery through strong governance, controls and data quality processes.

  • Build risk knowledge to support cross‑training with the Investment Risk team.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior analysts.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree qualification (preferred).

  • CFA and/or CIPM qualifications beneficial.

  • 5+ years’ experience in performance measurement or investment analytics.

  • Proven experience delivering performance and attribution reporting under time‑critical deadlines.

  • Strong understanding of fixed income performance drivers, including carry, roll‑down, duration, curve, spreads, FX and inflation‑linked analytics.

  • Ability to interpret and clearly explain analytics to portfolio managers and non‑technical stakeholders.

  • Advanced Excel, Power Query, Power BI and SQL skills.

  • Strong experience with FactSet performance and analytics modules.

  • Experience working with IBOR vs ABOR data and custodial feeds.

  • Exposure to investment risk frameworks desirable.

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage digital tools and emerging analytics capabilities to improve efficiency and insights.

  • Strong risk awareness and commitment to regulatory and internal governance standards.
