About The Team

Strategy & Operations is the engine that drives the DoorDash business forward, leading priority areas for the company, developing strategies, and driving business outcomes. DoorDash embraces and invests in this function because of our belief in an ownership mentality - our employees can develop the strategy and execute it.

The Dasher & Logistics Strategy & Operations team supports the millions of Dashers who power DoorDash’s marketplace by ensuring that every delivery is completed with speed, accuracy and results in a positive Consumer, Merchant and Dasher experience. We’re building the world’s leading last-mile logistics platform - and to succeed, we’ll need to disrupt ourselves along the way.

About The Role

As a Senior Associate on the ANZ Dasher & Logistics S&O team, you will own and drive the performance of our Dasher marketplace, ensuring the health, quality, and compliance of our fleet while enabling sustainable, scalable growth of the business.

You will take end-to-end ownership of critical Dasher metrics, translating data into clear insights and leading operational initiatives that improve delivery quality, reduce cost and risk, and strengthen our onboarding and compliance processes. You will partner closely with operational teams, product and engineering, finance, and legal to drive strong decision-making and execution, ensuring alignment across all business lines against ANZ priorities.

You will deep dive into Dasher operational and quality metrics to identify trends, diagnose root causes of underperformance, and develop data-backed action plans to keep performance on track. You will clearly communicate insights, trade-offs, and progress to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership, particularly when metrics deviate from plan.

In parallel, you will lead and contribute to longer-term, cross-functional initiatives that require sustained ownership beyond day-to-day monitoring. This includes designing and executing experiments and projects to improve marketplace quality, onboarding efficiency, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance, from problem definition through to implementation and measurement of impact.

You will report to the Manager, Strategy & Operations, Dasher & Logistics.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
  • Strategise - Help shape the Dasher marketplace strategy by identifying opportunities to improve delivery quality, fleet health, onboarding efficiency, fraud prevention, and compliance, translating metrics and insights into clear, actionable operational plans.
  • Engage - Design and implement scalable initiatives and best practices that improve Dasher quality, safety, and efficiency, delivering a reliable and compliant delivery experience.
  • Operate - Own dashboards and core Dasher performance metrics, manage week-over-week operating cadence, and proactively identify and mitigate risks to safe, compliant delivery operations.
  • Analyse - Build and maintain analytical models using tools such as Excel and SQL to assess performance, quantify trade-offs, and evaluate the economic and operational impact of programs, experiments, and policy changes.
  • Influence - Partner closely with Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, Fraud, and Comms teams to drive alignment, execute initiatives, and build stakeholder and leadership buy-in.
We're excited about you because…
  • You have 3+ years of experience in Strategy & Operations, Business Operations, Consulting, Banking, Technology, or a related field, supported by a Bachelor’s degree.
  • You are a self-starter – You have a bias for action and are able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • You are a problem solver – You have a talent for synthesising complex problems, can translate high-level goals into actionable plans, and enjoy implementing a process.
  • You are analytical – You use data to inform tough decisions, and are comfortable operating at both the 10,000 foot level and at the 10 inch level.
  • You are an owner – You're always looking for opportunities to better your work product and own the outcome – both the good and the bad.
