As part of Commercial Banking, we serve medium enterprises with up to $150M in annual turnover and up to $50M in commercial debt. At CB 150 West, we focus on Manufacturing, Retail, and Wholesalers. Based in our Parramatta office, you will enjoy flexible working, including working from home and remote options, while gaining exposure to various industries and transactions.

Your impact
As a key team member, you'll support Relationship Executives in writing new money lending transactions, conduct research, and build an industry-specific database to drive growth.
You will analyse and assess risks and opportunities, focusing primarily on deals exceeding $10M.
As Senior Associate, you’ll manage complex Commercial Banking transactions, gaining exposure to sophisticated clients and developing leadership skills. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Analyst to step into a Senior Associate role
Specifically, you will

Undertake financial modelling and analysis to assess risks and opportunities on new and existing lending.

Prepare timely and accurate credit risk submissions, with a strong attention to detail.

Collaborate with product specialists and monitor performance.

Conduct annual reviews and report client financial and operational performance to Risk Management.
What are we looking for?

Strong skills in financial modelling, complex credit writing, and in-depth financial analysis, in business/commercial banking (deal size $10m+).

Deep understanding of cash flow drivers and advanced credit risks, with the ability to present findings to senior management.

Ability to quickly grasp complex transactions, including “new to bank” and credit risk experience as essential.

Knowledge of ESG factors and ability to discuss financial ratios, while coaching less experienced analysts.

Capable of managing competing priorities and negotiating high-pressure situations.

Strong communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders

Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Business/Finance and/or Commerce is essential.
