About the Role

We’re currently looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our team, working on large-scale enterprise projects where quality, stability, and modern automation practices are critical.

This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on and technical, not just using tools, but building and improving automation frameworks from the ground up. You’ll play a key role in strengthening automation capability and helping teams move towards more scalable, robust testing practices.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks from scratch
• Work across both UI and API layers, ensuring end-to-end test coverage
• Develop clean, reusable automation code (not just record/playback)
• Troubleshoot and resolve test stability issues, improving overall reliability
• Implement and optimise advanced locator strategies (dynamic XPath, CSS selectors)
• Contribute to data-driven API testing across REST and SOAP services
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and DevOps teams in large enterprise environments
• Help uplift automation practices and guide teams towards better engineering standards

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in automation engineering (not just tool usage)
• Hands-on proficiency in JavaScript
• Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch
• Deep knowledge of advanced locator strategies (e.g. dynamic XPath, CSS selectors)
• Experience with data-driven API testing (REST / SOAP)
• Strong scripting capability within Katalon, with a focus on custom code
• Ability to act as a technical problem solver, identifying and resolving systemic issues in test suites
• Experience working in large enterprise environments

Nice to Have

• Experience uplifting automation practices within teams
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments
