In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams and subject matter experts to understand business needs, analyse current and future-state processes, and translate requirements into clear, practical solutions. You will bring a strong end-to-end perspective, helping teams identify opportunities, manage delivery risks and produce high-quality business analysis artefacts.

This is an opportunity to contribute across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage discovery and requirements definition through to implementation, transition and embedment into business-as-usual operations.

  • Partner with Project and Program Owners and subject matter experts to elicit, analyse, prioritise and gain approval for business requirements.
  • Define strategic, interim and tactical business process changes.
  • Analyse and map business processes, systems, data flows and associated lifecycle events.
  • Develop clear functional and non-functional requirements, including epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Communicate requirements effectively to a broad audience, including developers, testers, vendors and project stakeholders.
  • Apply user-focused modelling techniques to represent business requirements and customer needs.
  • Identify project dependencies, constraints and related requirements, working with internal teams to agree appropriate solutions.
  • Contribute to test scenarios and the overall testing strategy.
  • Work with internal and external technology partners to support project delivery and resolve issues.
  • Support cross-functional project activities, including daily stand-ups, retrospectives and backlog refinement sessions.
  • Work with Release Management to support smooth implementation and transition into business-as-usual operations.
  • Contribute to change management activities and develop training materials that help impacted stakeholders adopt new processes and solutions.
  • Review business analysis artefacts to ensure quality and alignment with established frameworks.
  • Produce high-quality analysis deliverables using appropriate tools and techniques.

About you

You are an experienced Business Analyst who is comfortable operating in complex and changing environments. You can work independently, manage competing priorities and build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • At least five years of dedicated business analysis experience across Agile, Lean and Waterfall delivery environments.
  • Experience working independently on large, complex projects across the full systems development lifecycle, from early ideation through to execution and operational embedment.
  • A strong understanding of business analysis principles, methods and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience gathering stakeholder needs and translating them into detailed, clearly documented requirements.
  • Experience developing business process models using Microsoft Visio or another enterprise-endorsed modelling platform.
  • Experience using the Atlassian suite, particularly Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different functions and levels of seniority.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage change in a dynamic working environment.
