As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll play a critical role in helping shape workforce decisions across Flying Operations and Cabin Crew. Working on some of the most complex workforce planning challenges in the business, you'll combine analytical rigour, commercial thinking and stakeholder influence to solve problems, evaluate opportunities and drive better business outcomes.

This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys turning complexity into clarity. You'll take large data sets, competing priorities and ambiguous business challenges and translate them into meaningful insights and recommendations that influence decision-making at a senior level.

Working closely with Workforce Planning, Finance, Employee Relations and operational leaders, you'll be trusted to challenge thinking, explore trade-offs and identify opportunities that improve both operational performance and crew experience.

The core responsibilities of this role will be:

  • Lead complex workforce planning analysis and scenario modelling across Flying Operations and Cabin Crew.
  • Develop recommendations that balance commercial, operational, industrial and employee considerations.
  • Translate complex analysis into clear business stories that support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workforce efficiency, productivity and operational resilience.
  • Build business cases and evaluate options to support workforce planning initiatives and transformation projects.
  • Support enterprise agreement negotiations through workforce analysis, cost modelling and the assessment of proposed changes.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Workforce Planning, Finance, Operations and Employee Relations to solve complex business challenges.
  • Leverage analytical tools, technology and AI to improve insight generation and decision-making capability.

To be considered, key skills will include:

  • Experience in workforce planning, business analysis, strategy, consulting or a similarly analytical environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to evaluate risks, opportunities and trade-offs.
  • Advanced analytical and modelling capability, with strong Excel skills and experience working with complex data sets.
  • Ability to translate technical analysis into practical business recommendations that influence decision-makers.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience using Power BI or similar analytical and visualisation tools.
  • Exposure to workforce planning, resource planning, scheduling or optimisation environments will be highly regarded.
  • Experience with enterprise agreements, industrial relations frameworks or enterprise bargaining processes will be advantageous.
  • Experience within aviation, airline operations or other large-scale operational environments will be highly regarded.
  • Curiosity, adaptability and a willingness to challenge existing ways of working while bringing others on the journey.
