Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Business Development Manager to lead our sales efforts and build strong relationships with clients in the region. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, offering the opportunity to drive growth and make a real impact. Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with a global Sales Team to implement sales strategies tailored to the Australian market, ensuring alignment with regional priorities and company goals.

  • Establish trust with C-level executives and key decision-makers, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who understands their challenges, ambitions, and needs.

  • Handle the entire sales cycle—from lead generation and qualification to RFPs and contract negotiations.

  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales quotas by converting qualified leads and expanding our presence in the market.

  • Create compelling presentations, lead product demonstrations (online and in person), and clearly communicate the value of Scaler’s solutions.

  • Stay ahead of market trends, leveraging insights to differentiate Scaler’s offerings and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or otherwise proven experience in product management

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in sales-related roles within B2B SaaS, ESG, or technology-driven industries.

  • Experience with ESG, real estate, or environmental solutions is a plus.

  • Strong analytical mindset, using data to quantify opportunities and guide decision-making.

  • Creative problem-solving and critical thinking, especially in high-stakes negotiations.
