About this role

Our growing Private Advisory (Business Services) team is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our vibrant, friendly Sydney office.

Business leaders face many challenges throughout the business lifecycle: from managing daily operations, tax and compliance, to navigating a competitive landscape and planning an exit strategy. Key responsibilities

• Preparation of accounts, tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax returns for a broad range of clients, from SMEs to large companies

• Assist with tax and accounting advice

• Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients

• Monitor, review and liaise with clients regarding compliance requirements

• Provide development, coaching and mentoring opportunities to less experienced team members as required

Skills and experience

• Qualification(s) and / or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s)

• Have commenced (or planning to commence) a CA qualification

• Significant professional experience in business and tax advisory within a chartered accounting setting

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with a desire to go ‘above and beyond’ to delight your customers

• Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline-driven environment
