DXC Claims Management is excited to have commenced operations in NSW partnering with icare to improve recovery and return to work outcomes for injured workers in New South Wales.

With over 20 years' experience in workers compensation claims management, a unique opportunity exists to join a new DXC team and contribute to bringing DXC's claims management expertise to icare and the people of New South Wales.

The Senior Case Manager manages the interventions required to ensure high risk cases achieve the best possible recovery and return to work outcomes. Working closely with case managers, the Senior CM will apply their advanced injury and return to work management skills, together with exceptional stakeholder management skills, to achieve optimal outcomes.

This role sits within our NI team.

Required skills, experience and qualifications

  • The ability to gather information from a range of stakeholders to develop
  • Effective case management strategies
  • A sound background in claims management experience in the NSW worker's compensation scheme
  • Experience in preparing and attending claims reviews and clinical case conferences to effectively facilitate outcomes
  • Knowledge of medical and paramedical terminology and procedures, including the forms of treatment applicable to injuries
  • Well-developed problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
