Are you an experienced Parts Interpreter with strong Japanese truck knowledge looking to take the next step into Product and Category Management?

Bapcor's Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG) is seeking a Senior Cataloguing Specialist - Japanese to join our growing Category & Product Management team. Working closely with the Japanese Segment Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing catalogue accuracy across our Japanese truck range, supporting branches nationally with technical expertise and product information.

This is a unique opportunity to move beyond day-to-day parts interpreting and build a career in a specialised role focused on cataloguing, product data, analysis and branch support.

Job Description

As the Senior Cataloguing Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate product information is available across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cataloguing new Japanese truck models and updating existing listings
  • Using EPC systems to identify and catalogue parts accurately
  • Maintaining catalogue data within MoPro ERP and website platforms
  • Reviewing supersessions and duplicate part numbers
  • Supporting branch teams with complex technical enquiries
  • Preparing catalogue updates and branch communications
  • Analysing VOR and product data to support cataloguing priorities
  • Working closely with Product, Category Management and supplier teams

Qualifications

You may currently be a:

  • Senior Parts Interpreter
  • Parts Specialist
  • Product Specialist
  • Cataloguing Specialist
  • Technical Parts Advisor

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Experience in cataloguing or senior parts interpreting
  • Strong EPC knowledge and experience
  • Excellent understanding of Japanese truck parts and models
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong Excel and reporting capability

Highly Regarded

  • Experience with Hino, Isuzu, Fuso or UD Trucks
  • Automotive aftermarket or commercial vehicle experience
  • MoPro ERP experience
  • Exposure to product management or category management functions
