Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to partner with the JAS business and drive performance through commercial insights, financial analysis and data-driven decision-making.

This role will focus on improving revenue growth, margin outcomes and overall business performance, working closely with stakeholders across sales, operations, supply chain and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver deep analysis of revenue, margin and P&L performance across customers, products, branches and business units
  • Provide actionable insights to identify risks, opportunities and performance improvement initiatives
  • Lead customer, product and network performance analysis to optimise profitability and revenue quality
  • Partner with stakeholders to support branch and regional performance reviews with clear, data-driven insights
  • Evaluate pricing, rebates, promotions and revenue assurance to improve margin and commercial outcomes
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling, challenging assumptions and enhancing accountability
  • Develop and enhance reporting, dashboards and BI tools to improve business visibility and decision-making
  • Drive process improvements, automation and the use of data/AI to increase efficiency and insight quality

Qualifications

You’ll join a high-performing commercial team where accountability, insight, and continuous improvement are at the core. We’re looking for a commercially driven change leader who can influence stakeholders, challenge performance, and deliver impactful results.

You will bring:

  • Degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics or similar
  • Experience in commercial analysis, management reporting or finance business partnering
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/BI tools
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • A proactive, detail-oriented and outcomes-focused mindset

Nice to have:

  • CA/CPA (or working towards)
  • Experience in multi-site, wholesale, retail or distribution environments
