Job Description

Your Opportunity – Financial Modeller (Senior Consultant –Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney)

Our Financial Modelling team is growing! As you progress your career in our team, you will leverage your increasing financial modelling expertise, helping clients solve complex commercial and investment challenges through robust, well-structured and insightful models.

You will have opportunities to work with, and learn from, some of the best financial modellers in the world and:

· Develop best in class financial models to support strategic decision and valuation across numerous sectors and asset classes.

· Review financial models supporting some of the largest and highest profile transactions in Australia and globally.

· Develop and provide financial analysis to effectively interpret model outputs and deliver meaningful insights to clients.

· Work on a diverse range of projects, including major investment decisions, greenfield developments, project financings, business cases and transaction-related engagements.

· Manage client engagements or discrete workstreams within a larger engagement, coaching and developing junior staff and client resources.

· Receive tailored learning and development from some of the most financial modellers in the industry.

· Work in a flexible environment with working from the Home, Office, and Client hubs.

A key differentiator of this role is that financial models are not simply analytical tools, but client deliverables in their own right. We place strong emphasis on best-practice financial modelling and developing models that are robust, transparent, user-friendly and fit for purpose.

· Have a genuine interest in financial modelling and enjoy solving complex problems through logical deduction and structured thinking.

· Are interested in learning and applying best practise financial modelling techniques to convert complex logic process into an excel based model solution.

· Enjoy tackling challenging and unstructured problems and breaking them down into practical solutions to meet client’s needs and provide clients with meaningful insights.

· Take pride in producing high-quality work and have a strong attention to detail.

· Have experience working with clients or stakeholders and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Are motivated by continuous learning and developing deep technical expertise.

Your Experience

· A degree in a relevant numerate field, such as commerce, accounting, econometrics, or STEM.

· Strong numeracy combined with high attention to detail.
