About the business/role/team
You will be part of a specialist Talent Acquisition providing critical talent and resourcing support for the Bank, reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition. You will join a highly collaborative and engaged People Department team, a group of specialists in their own areas of expertise with a similar goal of delivering the best talent outcomes for the Bank.

This opportunity would align with substantial experience in an inhouse TA role in professional services, technology or related sectors and who is able to build relationships to become a trusted advisor to our stakeholders across our IT functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the recruitment strategy for mid-level, senior and leadership roles
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and executives to understand hiring requirements, market conditions and business priorities.
  • Personally lead senior, leadership and technically specialised searches from role scoping through to offer and close.
  • Effective utilisation or Workday and ensuring you meet all reporting and governance requirements
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and senior positions through proactive sourcing, networking and market mapping.
  • Own overall time-to-hire performance across the recruitment function and intervene early on searches at risk of missing deadlines
  • Champion employer branding and candidate experience initiatives to strengthen the RBA’s position in a competitive technical talent market.
  • Ensure recruitment practices are fair, consistent and compliant with relevant employment law and company policy.
  • Support with the delivery of other critical HR projects and operational priorities

About you

  • Demonstrable experience as a Senior Talent Acquisition professional ideally within the professional services or technology industry
  • A proactive and curious mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or a related discipline
  • Proven people management experience, ideally leading a small recruitment or HR team
  • Strong end-to-end recruitment experience, from requisition through to onboarding
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders, hiring managers and executives
  • Strong sourcing, market mapping and talent pipeline development capability.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and hiring analytics/reporting.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to use recruitment data to drive decision-making
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills, including the confidence to constructively challenge hiring managers when required
  • Strong organisational and process management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent searches without compromising quality
  • A proactive, adaptable and resilient approach to working in a fast-changing environment
  • A genuine commitment to candidate experience, employer branding, integrity and fair hiring practices
