Job Description Summary

The Consumer Marketing Specialist role at ResMed sits at the heart of the Consumer Marketing operations within ANZ. The ideal candidate would be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns across various channels to promote our products and services, analyzing customer data to identify trends, and collaborating with store teams to maximize sales within a retail environment, often focusing on in-store promotions, digital marketing, and customer engagement strategies to drive foot traffic and conversion rates. We’re looking for an individual who’s a team player with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail marketing within consumer marketing, covering all aspects of the paid/earned/owned marketing mix.

A thinker and a doer, this individual would be action-oriented individual who thrives in an ambiguous environment. Their strong business acumen, drive, good sense of judgement and maturity will see them succeed in this position. With exceptional communication skills, this person will have the ability to lead, influence and drive change through their strategic thinking and understanding of the consumer journey and key drivers. A previous work experience within a traditional B2B brand transitioning into a B2C brand would be highly regarded.

Let's talk about Responsibilities

  • The consumer marketing specialist will execute and drive ResMed’s retail marketing strategy with the ultimate aim of bringing the power of a good night’s sleep to more people, driving ResMed ANZ towards our ambitious goal of becoming the consumers’ number one choice in sleep health.
  • Working hand-in-hand with our retail sales team and the marketing lead, this role will champion the ResMed brand and deliver cut-through strategies that both inspire and delight consumers while meeting business objectives.
  • Execute on the strategy to deliver tangible business results in the form of conversion, revenue and market share objectives.
  • Contribute in the development of  marketing plans consisting of a full mix of paid/earned/owned activities such as media strategy, PR plans, eDMs, events, visual merchandising, local area marketing and more.
  • Forge strong relationships with our network of stores through collaborating closely with state sales managers, store managers and store staff
  • Own the pop-up store roadmap, from planning and budgeting through to execution, measurement and optimisation.
  • Collaborate with the Product Marketing Manager ANZ to understand ResMed go-to-market plans for new products and develop retail and consumer level launch plans.
  • Creating and managing marketing campaigns across various channels including in-store displays, digital advertising, social media, email marketing, and print materials.
  • Support and engage with stores in Local Area Marketing initiatives and projects
  • Analyzing customer data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and target marketing efforts accordingly
  • Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on the success of marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

 

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
 

Required
Tertiary qualifications in marketing, advertising, design or media (ideal)

  • Three (3)+ years’ professional marketing experience
  • Competence with the use of marketing software (e.g. asset management, project management and content publishing tools)
  • Experience with invoicing and budget tracking
  • Understanding of analytics tools, e.g. Google Analytics
  • Highly organised and ability to manage projects at various stages within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
