Drive the future of data at Equifax by managing critical data acquisition and fostering high-value relationships within our exchanges and data vendors. As a trusted advisor, you will identify new data sources and implement strategic solutions that power our industry-leading insights.

 

What you will do

  • Manage data acquisition for exchanges and engage with vendors, clients, product and sales leaders to expand reliance on Equifax as a trusted advisor.

  • Foster trust by developing strong working relationships with data vendors, key product and client decision-makers and influencers.

  • Proactively conduct research to identify new external data sources and analyze benefits to communicate findings effectively.

  • Drive the development and execution of the data pipeline, including preparing supplier documentation and reports.

  • Recommend and implement solutions that strengthen customer relationships and provide insights on downstream outcomes.

  • Provide high-level customer service throughout the onboarding process to ensure the ongoing growth of data vendors and partners.

  • Build and maintain an understanding of industry trends to identify factors that differentiate Equifax from competitors.

  • Share data quality results, issues, and opportunities directly with data furnishers 

What experience do you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.

  • 5–7 years of related experience in sales, consulting, or sales support.

  • Proven experience building business partnerships and negotiating complex agreements.

  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating and interacting with vendors.

  • Experience driving compliance control defaults and performing data maintenance on web channels.

  • Cloud certification is strongly preferred

 

What could set you apart

  • Direct experience within the Banking, Finance, or Telco industries regarding data acquisition.

  • Ability to research future market needs and understand the regulatory requirements surrounding data management.

  • Strong business acumen with a track record of developing complex business cases.

  • Advanced ability to influence stakeholders and communicate the value of data for client solutions.
