  • Impactful and rewarding role helping improve the health of Aussies

G’day, we’re Mosh

Our mission is to get Aussies the best possible health outcomes through best-in class health programs. We know the current healthcare system is not meeting the needs of the modern Australian, and we reckon there’s a better, more holistic way. Our solutions for hair loss, sexual health, skin care, mental health and weight management are easy, affordable and completely discreet.

More than a job

There’s nothing better than the feeling that what you’re doing matters and makes a difference. We’re pretty lucky this is the norm and not the exception for us. As a member of the Data team, your mission will be to work closely with our Finance and Operations teams and be their go-to partner for insights, reporting, and analysis, helping them make data-informed decisions that ultimately help our patients get the best health outcomes possible.

What you’ll do

  • Work with cross-functional teams (for example, our medical operations, customer, finance and operations teams) to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions to support their everyday roles.
  • Partner with engineering to specify data needs for measuring the success of a new initiative. This includes assisting with the schema design on new initiatives to ensure they’re scalable, offer feedback on technical designs, and provide ongoing support during the QA and launch phases.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to define success metrics for new initiatives, providing expertise on our data platform and recommending strategies for achieving optimal outcomes.
  • Perform advanced data mining, cleansing, and manipulation to ensure data is organised, easy to read and accurate.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, offering recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide team members in finance and operations organisations on data analysis techniques, best practices, and tools, empowering them to meet their data needs independently.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and support special projects as needed, and be seen a subject matter expert in data analysis, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Experience you’ll bring & traits you’ll have

  • You’ve got at least 3+ years of data analytics experience (or similar), preferable in a senior capacity at a tech, or a health tech company, and can speak about how your work contributed towards the company’s success.
  • You’re an expert in SQL, and hands on experience with data modelling, CDP tools (e.g. Segment) and BI tools (e.g. Looker). Experience with dbt, LookML and Python would be a plus.
  • You over-communicate, have excellent presentation skills, and can distil information to the right level of detail for the right audience, including the ability to ensure non technical people can understand complex concepts.
  • You think through problems systematically, design future proof plans and spot potential edge cases a mile away
  • You think from first principles, have strong critical thinking & analytical skills and have the ability to take complex data sets  and draw meaningful conclusions from them.
  • You can work collaboratively and independently with your team members and balance multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • A bonus if you have some experience with predictive modelling, or an active interest in machine learning techniques.

What’s on offer

We hire teammates that share our values, believe in our mission and are passionate about the future of men’s health. Some of the reasons our team loves Mosh include:

  • We’re a creative, friendly and collaborative bunch that’s incredible passionate about creating best in health programs
  • There’s lots of opportunity to learn and grow with the company with access to on-demand training
  • A fully stocked drinks fridge and snack bar in our Surry Hills office
  • Subsidised ClassPass credits so you can look and feel your best
  • Access to up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Get discounts on a range of Mosh products and services
  • Work flexibly from home under a hybrid model in Sydney, with an emphasis on work life balance
  • Our work makes a real, positive impact on the lives of others

Better, together

Everyone is different and we think that’s what makes life interesting. We believe these differences create new ideas, offer unique perspectives and speak on behalf of all of our customers. If you think you have what it takes but don't check all the boxes, reach out anyway - we’d love to hear from you.
