Introduction to R/GA & the role
R/GA Australia is a new breed of creative innovation business that has combined the rapid make culture of an agency with the commercial design and strategic rigour of a consultancy. We have purpose built this model to help brands thrive in the new economy.
To be able to do this we base everything on data & insight. Being able to solve complex business problems through data driven insight is the day-to-day of a Senior Data Analyst.

On any given day you might
- Present insights with clarity and confidence, turning complex concepts into compelling narratives.
- Develop measurement frameworks tied to business goals and campaign strategies.
- Leverage AI tools and frameworks to accelerate analysis, automate workflows, and enhance creative/strategic outputs across the business.
- Build dashboards and data products that blend distributed data sources (CRM, Paid, Website, Business) into a single source of truth.
- Implement and debug complex tracking across websites & apps.
- Apply advanced martech expertise across Website, CRM, eDM, Paid Media etc.
- Develop Return on Investment models/simulations.
- Bring an expert lens on emerging AI and marketing technology trends to clients and internal teams.
- Provide oversight to more junior team members
- Partner closely with Strategy, Tech, Experience Design, and Account Services to ensure data fuels R/GA’s model of informed decisions.

You bring
Ideal
- 6+ years’ experience in analytics, with proven impact in a marketing or digital environment.
- Strong client-facing presentation and storytelling skills.
- Experience across a broad martech stack: Google Analytics, GTM, Adobe Analytics, CDPs (Adobe, Tealium, Salesforce, etc.), Campaign Manager, Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.
- Hands-on expertise with BI and visualisation platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio).
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and comfort working with large, complex datasets.
- Experience with cloud data platforms, ideally certified in Azure or Google Cloud (BigQuery, AI/ML, Data Engineering or equivalent certifications).
- Experience using AI/ML for prediction modelling, automation, or insight generation.
Nice to have:
- Experience leading or mentoring small teams.
- Experience in Brand Tracking / Qualitative Reporting.
- Experience with Python or R for modelling and automation.
- Familiarity with MLOps or deploying models into production environments.
- Prior exposure to data engineering concepts and pipelines.
