About the role:
The Senior Marketing Director is part of our international Sales and Marketing team and will be a key business partner to our local Leadership Team in Australia. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, this role is responsible for leading and executing the company’s marketing strategy, including brand strategy, demand generation, digital marketing, and PR/Communications for the assigned market. This leader must be strategic but also very tactical, actively engaging with the broader marketing team to move initiatives forward through helping with writing, design direction, project management, etc. This hands-on leadership position manages a marketing spend of US$1.5M+.
This leader allocates effort and resources to drive overall omnichannel success for the HSI Donesafe business unit in ANZ including the oversight and management of the company website, digital marketing capabilities, and demand generation to ensure financial growth. This leader is also responsible for owning the marketing budget and communicating marketing analytics and metrics to the rest of the Australian leadership team.
The Sr Marketing Director will oversee a team of approximately 12 marketing and SDR employees. While this role requires a hands-on leader who will work along side others, strong personnel management and project management skills are critical.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the charge in driving rapid growth across our various solutions and brands.
- Lead and develop a team of marketing professionals within the HSI Donesafe business unit.
- Oversee HSI Donesafe demand generation vehicles, their message, performance, measurement and reporting.
- Collaborate with APAC-based sales leaders to drive and report on revenue performance against targets across the company.
- Lead, coordinate and communicate go-to-market strategies and efforts across the APAC business unit including launch strategies, media/press announcements and internal employee communications.
- Manage the marketing budget & marketing channel spend for the APAC business unit; allocate dollars to deliver best ROI.
- Drive the Event strategy for Australia and New Zealand, including tradeshow, conference and local event planning and execution.
- Lead the Marketing Communications strategy for the APAC business unit, including messaging and ensure customer-centric value proposition is front and center in HSI marcomm.
- Lead marketing planning and coordination of strategy for the APAC business unit to achieve forward-looking company goals.
- Create and drive a marketing operations culture of measurement across the APAC team to track and optimize key metrics and understand the pulse of how marketing impacts revenue.
- Lead effective brand integration of new products and other business units.
- Participate in product design and product marketing tradeoffs to ensure the right products are brought to market.
- Initiate ROI-based scenario planning to optimize marketing investments and net marketing outcomes.
- Maintain a commitment to HSI Donesafe customers and champion this effort across the company.
- Know our market, customers, customer segments, trends, customer pain points, and benefits of our products / services.
- Consider customer impact in all marketing decisions.
- Study and stay abreast of industry trends, competitive strategies, best practices, opportunities, threats and develop/implement plans to keep HSI in an industry leading position.
- Serve as a market expert for the APAC market, most notably Australia and New Zealand, providing insight and guidance to the global organization.
- Ability to travel: 10% both domestic and internationally.

Qualifications
- 15+ years of marketing/product marketing/brand marketing leadership experience, preferably within an international organization.
- Management of a diverse team
- Strong tactical, hands-on SEO and SEM experience with the ability to track and optimize campaigns.
- Experience using analytics and setting up “through-the-funnel” marketing dashboards to optimize marketing spend and initiatives.
- Proven track record of serving as both a strategic leader and a tactical team resource who is executing on the marketing strategy.
- Expertise in managing and presenting a multi-brand strategy both internally (employees) and externally (customers, partners, market)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- SaaS marketing experience
- Experience using Account-Based Marketing (ABM) software to drive MQLs.
- Go-to-market experience across a multi-brand offering
- Experience working with private equity-backed, fast-growth, mid-market businesses.
- Experience with integrating acquisitions
- Experience in e-commerce and related marketing metrics
- Experience working in a matrixed, international business.
