Job Description

As a Senior Electrical Engineer (HV/MV) you will take the lead on technical design work for integrating high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) electrical equipment into electrical infrastructure projects. This is an opportunity to work on exciting projects for diverse clients including generation, industrials, public institutions and local distribution networks. You will help design and deliver high-performance solutions that meet exacting standards for time, cost, and quality.

  • Develop proposal documents and technical reports
  • Present complex engineering information to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure timely, accurate delivery of project milestones
  • Collaborate closely within a small, supportive team environment

Qualifications

The qualities that help you thrive

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.  

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and chartered or working toward chartered status
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in MV equipment design (cables, switchgear, transformers, etc.)
  • Familiarity with engineering software packages (e.g., CDEGS, CYMCAP etc.)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is desirable though not essential
  • Valid driver’s licence
