Senior EUC & Telephony Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior EUC & Telephony Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure & Platforms team based in Archerfield on a permanent, full-time basis.

Reporting to the Modern Workplace Technology Manager, you will play a key role in leading the optimisation, support, and continuous improvement of Sime Industrial's modern workplace technologies.

As a senior technical specialist, you'll provide technical leadership across endpoint, telephony, and collaboration platforms, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing services that enable our people to do their best work. You'll also contribute to platform standards, documentation, operational excellence, and the successful transition of projects into business-as-usual support.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior EUC & Telephony Engineer at Sime Industrial, you will:

  • Manage, optimise, and enhance Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, and modern workplace technologies to deliver a secure and seamless user experience.
  • Support and maintain enterprise telephony and collaboration platforms, including Microsoft Teams Telephony, Cisco Webex, and associated communications technologies.
  • Provide senior technical leadership and Level 3 support, leading the resolution of complex incidents, problems, and platform issues.
  • Monitor platform performance, compliance, availability, and reliability while implementing proactive improvements and preventative measures.
  • Drive automation, standardisation, and continuous improvement initiatives across end-user and workplace technology services.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and platform standards to support consistent service delivery.
  • Contribute technical expertise to projects including device modernisation, platform upgrades, workplace transformation initiatives, and the successful transition of solutions into BAU support.
  • Partner with stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to deliver high-quality technology services and outcomes.

What you'll need

  • Demonstrated experience in End User Computing, Modern Workplace, or a similar technical engineering role.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, and modern workplace technologies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise telephony and unified communications platforms, including Microsoft Teams Telephony and Cisco Webex.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Experience developing technical documentation, standards, and operational support practices.
  • Experience working with vendors and managing services against SLAs and KPIs.
  • A passion for customer service, continuous improvement, and modern workplace technologies.
  • Relevant IT qualifications and Microsoft certifications will be highly regarded.
